Grace Rose Farm Tour
Grace Rose Farm is located just outside Santa Barbara in the beautiful and scenic area of Santa Ynez, which is one of our favorite areas to go wine tasting. (You can see more about the area on our Solving Solvang post.)
My friend Meagan from MV florals invited a group of us to go check out one of their first tours. I was so impressed!
If you love roses and want a really fun and beautiful experience this is a perfect thing to do! It’s a great group activity or gift for a bride, best friend or Mom.
What to expect
- Guided tour of the farm by the owner, Gracie
- Picking roses for an arrangement that you keep
- Vegetarian lunch, dessert and drinks
- One product from their Grace Rose Skincare line that’s made with the roses
As you walk around, Gracie talks you through the property which houses 20,000 roses, gives a history and answers questions. We sat down to eat lunch early since it rained and then enjoyed a vegetarian lunch: yummy pesto pasta, salad, veggies, cheese, fruit, tea, water and cake. We also brought our own wine which they were happy to let us open.
Then it’s time to pick your own roses! This was our favorite part of the day, roaming through the gardens picking all the beautiful roses to take home!
I can see now why gardening can be a form of meditation. It was lovely.
Gracie giving us the grand tour
Best part of the day; roaming the gardens and cutting roses for our very own arrangement.
That’s us enjoying it rain or shine!
